FAQs (5)

1) What’s the difference between “certified” and “notarized” translation?
A certified translation includes a signed statement by the translator/agency attesting to accuracy. Notarization confirms the identity of the signer of that statement (not the translation itself). Some authorities ask for one or both—share your requirement and we’ll guide you.

2) Will my document’s layout and stamps be preserved?
Yes. We mirror the original layout, tables, seals, and stamps as closely as possible. Official seals are reproduced as “seal: [text]” unless an authority requires a specific format, which we’ll follow.

3) Do you accept scanned photos or PDFs from a phone?
Absolutely. Clear scans or high-resolution photos are fine. If text is faint or skewed, we’ll run OCR cleanup and confirm any unclear sections with you.

4) How are confidentiality and data security handled?
Your files are stored securely, shared only with need-to-know linguists bound by confidentiality. We can sign an NDA and delete files upon project completion if requested.

5) How is pricing calculated, and can I get a fixed quote?
Quotes are based on language pair, word count, subject complexity, and certification/DTP needs. Send your files and we’ll provide a fixed, all-inclusive quote with delivery date before you approve.

Helpful checklist before you send files

  • Tell us if you need certification/notarization, Apostille guidance, or hard-copy delivery.
  • Share any glossary/terminology or previous translations to maintain consistency.
  • Let us know your deadline and preferred format (PDF/DOCX/print).
