Without talented performers delivering the material, a brilliant script with an original idea is useless. Hiring a casting director is the most effective way to achieve this. Only actors most suited for the parts will be brought in by this person, who will pre-read the actors. If the script is available, the actors may read it, or they may arrive with prepared stuff.
